Magic Man, an indie pop-rock duo from Boston, kicked off their North American tour yesterday in North Carolina.

The tour, made up of 32 shows throughout the span of two months, is co-headlined by fellow pop-rockers The Griswolds, featuring Panama Wedding as the openers.

Still riding the success of their 2014 album, Before the Waves, Magic Man also released an EP of remixes of songs from the album. Artists such as Walk the Moon, Live City and Tokyo Police Club are featured on the album, putting their own spin on Magic Man’s music.

When it comes to catchy synthpop, however, Magic Man is tough to beat. Their single “Paris” is proof of one instance.

Co-headliners The Griswolds are a four-piece band from Sydney, Australia. Their 2014 album Be Impressive was well received by fans and critics and paved the way for their 2015 gig as openers for Walk the Moon and Passion Pit. Their song “16 Years” was featured on the soundtrack for the video game “Fifa 15.”

One of their songs, “Beware the Dog,” peaked at number 18 on Billboard’s chart for top Alternative Songs in September 2014.

Opening band, Panama Wedding, are based out of New York City. The band is best known for their single “All of the People.”
