Migos Drop Long Awaited ‘Culture II’

One day before the year anniversary of their album "Culture,"

the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively.

As defined, the word “culture” can be interpreted as a collective achievement by a group or individuals together. In this particular case, we have Migos.

Almost a year to the date of the release of their album CultureMigos have put out Culture II, yet another achievement transcending their lane in music and allowing them to separate from their peers. With only 10 features on their 24-track album — 11 more songs than the first iteration — Migos take it upon themselves to paint the narrative that is Culture IIProduction from Pharrell, Zaytoven, Murda Beatz, Metro Boomin, Cardo, Cassius Jay and even Quavo are among the notable all star cast laying the skeleton down for the album.

Clocking in at a little more than 106 minutes, the album is longer than most, but if you’re driving, traveling or something similar, it’s easy to forget that bit. Their refined and now trademarked flow is ever present throughout.

Though not the best track, one of the most upbeat songs is “Stir Fry” that feels almost as though it could be an anthem at a football game or a drumline. Turnover

Without getting too much into in, listen to the new Culture II and formulate an opinion on what seems to be one of the top albums of January and possibly longer.

Sidenote: My unwavering opinion

Takeoff is absolutely the standout in the album. Ever since the first time I heard Migos and started following them, back in 2012, my opinion has been that Takeoff is both the most underrated and best Migo. Listen to him closely on the album and even all of their other projects, for that matter.
