Kidz In The Hall have come together once again for “Dear Eastside” to reignite their careers as a duo that they put on hold in 2013

It’s possible you don’t remember where you heard of Kidz In The Hall, but after a quick search you’re certain to jog your memory. The duo have returned with “Dear Eastside.”

If you rewind back to 2006 when they first released their debut album, with Rawkus Records, after being signed to Boot Camp Clik‘s Duck Down Records, you’ll see a young Kidz In The Hall releasing music to critical acclaim. Fast forward to 2008 and they had, arguably, their biggest surge is noteriety with the release of their second album, The In CrowdWith nods from notable and veteran artists, Jabari Evans–Naledge–and Michael Aguilar–Double-0–saw their music reach out to a wider audience. Tracks such as “Driving Down the Block” and “Mr. Alladatshit,” the former having been remixed by Pusha T, Bun B and The Cool Kids, created an imprint in the hip hop scene.

The duo went on to release two more records, also on Duck Down Records, an EP in 2013 and then they were silent, moving toward working on their own solo projects.

It’s now 2017 and the two have reunited for a new song, “Dear Eastside.” A smooth track that could double as a summer jam. The cut is coming off of their freshly-announced upcoming album, Free Nights & Weekends on December 8.
