CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, sent a tweet about an hour ago of an accident involving one of his artists.
Top wrote that Jay Rock, 1/4 of the group Black Hippy, was in a motorcycle accident. Rumors started spreading quickly that Jay Rock was in a coma, but Top shut them down before they could spread any more. He wrote that Jay Rock has “a lot of broken bones” and isn’t near death. No more information is available at the time, but lets hope Jay Rock has a speedy recovery.

UPDATE: Jay Rock is out of surgery and “doing fine.”

UPDATE 2:Â Looks like Jay Rock is going to be getting out of the hospital within a couple of days.
