Using clips from themselves, fans and celebrities throughout Instagram, Foster the People have released the video for their single “Sit Next To Me.”
Fourclops, who has produced videos for Portugal. The Man, Pepsi, Old Spice and more was tapped to produce the video for Foster The People. The video is set in the portrait style and looks exactly as a user would browse the social media platform.
“It was fun to play with the premise of a music video that hijacks your social feed,” video director Fourclops said in a statement. “Instagram is a major destination for consuming media these days, and it made for an exciting setting for our video. We asked ourselves, what would it look like if all of the accounts within Instagram become transformed by a song?”
The song is off of their latest album release, Sacred Hearts Club.
