A$AP Mob Follows Through with New Music for ‘Wavy Wednesdays’

A$AP Mob

If G.O.O.D. Fridays haven’t satiated your weekly desire for music, you can add the A$AP Mob to the list of groups releasing music weekly.

First starting out in 2010 while working on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West began releasing new music every Friday leading up to the release of his album. Fans having been hoping for the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays and were teased by a tweet Kim Kardashian West sent. In the tweet, she wrote that Kanye was going back to releasing music weekly, but no definitive date was given at that time. The Friday came and went and when no music was released, Kim quickly went back to Twitter to apologize for writing that G.O.O.D. Fridays was making a comeback.

The success of G.O.O.D. Fridays didn’t fall onto deaf ears. A$AP Rocky announced last week that the A$AP Mob will be releasing music every Wednesday, dubbing the releases “Wavy Wednesdays.”

The Mob kicked off Wavy Wednesdays yesterday with not one, but two new tracks. Almost the entire Mob had a hand in the songs. The first cut, “Lords Never Worry,” which was also the name of their collaborative mixtape, includes A$AP Twelvyy, A$AP Nast and A$AP Rocky. The second song was an A$AP Ferg remix to the O.T. Genasis ft. Young Dolph track, “Cut It.”

Both are available for listen below:

If this continues and Kanye follows up with his promise of the return of G.O.O.D. Fridays, the next couple of weeks will be ones to look forward to.
