T-Pain lends his vocals on two 24hrs songs
Formerly known as Royce Rizzy, 24hrs has been rocketing to the top of headlines with the slew of popular releases within the last year. From his A-list features to his newest mixtape, 24hrs has been keeping himself busy.
Released on Sept. 26, 2017, 24hrs’ 11-track 12am in Atlanta serves as the sequel to his previous release, 12:AM. The mixtape is hosted by DJ Drama and an official Gangsta Grillz release. For some background, “Gangsta Grillz” is the name of the mixtape series coined and made popular by DJ Drama. The impact the series has had in mixtape releases remains as one of the highest level of cosigns in the release of mixtapes, an area of hip hop that has
slightly stepped aside due to the rise of Spotify, Tidal and Apple Music streaming. The Gangsta Grillz label on the mixtape solidifies the cosign by the Atlanta DJ.
The original version of the Hit Boy-produced song “What You Like” features Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa. It first released in December 2016, but has now received the remix treatment by T-Pain. Both this and the second song bring together the familiar auto-tuned vocals both artists are known for.
The second song released was “Go Up,” produced by drem00n, was released at the same time as the first.
While still releasing new content for fans, 24hrs remains on the road with MADEINTYO. Catch 24hrs at any of the shows on the second half of his tour.
